Biography:
Robert Cunningham, MD, an Irishman who came to the Midwest and grew to love it during his general surgery residency, initially thought he might become a plastic surgeon. But it was residency that introduced him to unique patient population and unveiled his true passion. His clinical interests include primary and revisional weight loss surgery, foregut procedures and abdominal hernia repair. To each patient, he vows to bring his A game to the clinic and operating room daily.Dr. Cunningham is a self-proclaimed dog lover he has two. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and watching rugby.
