Financial Counseling
We understand the financial cost of healthcare can be a source of considerable concern to patients and their families. We strive for excellence in our relationship with our patients, and this includes providing financial counseling to help manage the costs incurred as a result of medical care. Our Financial Counselor is dedicated to working with patients to explore their options for payment of medical services. This includes:
- Helping patients to understand the reimbursement process
- Assessing a patient's ability to pay
- Linking patients to available funding from their insurance providers, Medicaid, and/or Medicare
- Determining the patient's eligibility for charity care or financial hardship treatment
