Fremont County Public Health's Day of Play 2023
Fremont County Public Health, a department of George C. Grape Community Hospital, is hosting their 8th annual “Day of Play” on August 26, 2023, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. This event is to encourage physical activity and wellness by providing fun activities. Day of Play also hopes to bring families together in an effort to reduce child abuse. All families throughout Fremont County are encouraged to attend this free event.
Participants will meet at Hamburg Community School football field located at 309 South St, Hamburg, IA. At this event, there will be activities, healthy snacks, educational handouts, and great prizes which include bicycles, sports balls, games, and much more. The activities include an obstacle course, lawn darts, face painting and lots more. There will be something for everyone to enjoy at Day of Play.
The event is being held in cooperation with the schools and other businesses throughout Fremont County and is made possible by Fremont County Public Health.
