Dr. Stacey Parker-Brueggemann

Heartland Oncology & Hematology



Dr. Stacey Parker-Brueggemann is a physician with Heartland Oncology & Hematology in Council Bluffs. She completed her residency at St. Louis University, her residency at Medical College in Wisconsin, graduate work at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and undergraduate degree at Creighton University.

Dr. Robert Warner attended medical school at Creighton University School Of Medicine, served his residency at Creighton University, his fellowship at Berkshire Medical Center and the University of Nebraska, and attended undergraduate school at Creighton University.



Professional Services

Our certified nurses are experienced in Chemotherapy administration. They are here to help patients and their family navigate through the cancer treatment process and recovery.

Our staff will assist patients in scheduling appointments and can coordinate a free consultation with our Registered Dietician, the Physical Therapist, or the Occupational Therapist.

Nutritional Services

Our cancer patients are provided a free consultation with a Registered Dietician. We can help start them on a nutrition and fluid intake plan to address the challenges that therapy may cause. Issues that we address are the loss of appetite and/or fluids and the challenge of nausea.

Fitness and Strengthening

We understand how important it is for patients to maintain their strength and independence as they go through cancer therapy. Our Physical Therapy department will provide a free consultation and suggest an exercise program that is appropriate.

We want patients to be fully trained with the workout equipment in the Wellness Center. Our patients should feel welcome and confident exercising here.

Physical and Occupational Therapy

We encourage patients to bring their physical therapy prescription here to George C. Grape Hospital. Our staff will work with them on a one-on-one plan to regain vitality and return to their normal daily activities.

Check in

The Cancer Care Check-in Center is located in the main lobby of the front entrance of George C. Grape hospital. Our Patient Access personnel will be happy to assist you upon your arrival.
